1-1/2 c All-Purpose Flour |
Combine flour, 1 cup brown sugar, and softened butter in a large mixing bowl. Beat at med speed with mixer 2-3 min or until mix resembles fine crumbs. Pat mix evenly into bottom of ungreased 13x9" baking pan. Sprinkle pecans evenly over crumb mix. Combine 2/3 cup butter and remaining brown sugar in small saucepan. Cook and stir over med heat until entire surface is bubbly. Cook and stir 1 more min. Pour over pecans, spreading evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 min or until entire surface is bubbly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand a couple min to melt chocolate. Use a knife to swirl chocolate. Cool completely on wire rack. Makes 48 bars. |
